Centro Canino revamped
After two months in the pipeline, the new-look website for the Centro Canino Internacional in Palma, Mallorca, has gone live.
The Centro Canino is a popular and well-run charity founded more than 20 years ago by British ex-pat Jane Reynolds.
Every year it cares for hundreds of abandoned pets and other animals, and campaigns for better treatments towards animals in Mallorca.
The site, driven by the Textpattern content management system, is in English and Spanish. It includes a section of regularly updated news articles and a ‘blog’ – in Spanish – by the director, Juan Gil. The history of the refuge is documented in the About Us section.
The new site comes as the Centro Canino prepares to move into its new headquarters near Palma airport. The charity had to leave its old buildings in the centre of Palma and faced many obstacles – and some vicious attacks on its animals – before it found its new home. There are pictures of the new project on the site.
